A young Laredo woman is arrested after threatening her mother with a knife. Eighteen year old Valeria Zavala is charged with aggravated assault using a deadly weapon. The teen was gone when police arrived at the home, but she was found walking down a nearby street in an area around South Martin and arrested. The weapon was recovered inside the home. No one was injured, but Zavala still faces aggravated assault and evading arrest charges.
