One local group is asking you to help them battle domestic violence.
Casa de Misericordia and volunteers were out on the streets asking for donations to assist in funding. They held a bucket brigade Saturday afternoon. They say it takes a community to help save victims.
”Casa de Misericordia is an amazing place. It's a battered shelter for whether your a man or a woman or children. The shelter is for anyone who is a victim of domestic violence. So we are raising money. They cant do it on their own. It takes money to do that,” says Sammy “The House” Ramirez.
