Eagle scouts are hard at work cleaning up a bike trail in north Laredo. The bike trail existed but was not mapped. Different bicycle groups used GPS topography technology to map the 4 1/2 miles of bicycle track. Eagle scout member Aaron Tijerina plans on constructing two reference roads, that will display a map showing the trails and points of interest in the area. He says it will serve as a a way for families to spend more time together.
If you're interested in helping cleaning up the bike trails next weekend, you can contact Julie Tejerina at the e-mail address on the screen.
