An elderly woman is in critical condition tonight, after a fire breaks out in an apartment complex.
The woman is in her sixties and was airlifted to a San Antonio hospital; this after flames broke out at her apartment on San Francisco street.
Firefighters say the fire started in the woman's kitchen while she was cooking.
They were able to contain the flames in her unit, but paramedics say the woman is suffering from severe burns to her upper body and smoke inhalation as well.
