News of the stabbing is unsettling to neighbors on feather street to say the least.
Neighbors left in awe over the events from earlier today leaving them with more questions than answers to their already ambiguous neighbor.
Most residents agree, their quiet little cul-de-sac here on Feather Street never stirs up any sort of trouble, but earlier today neighbors were shocked to find out a woman had been stabbed right across the street from where they lived.
Neighbor, Luis Martinez said, "it's a friendly neighborhood the kids are always playing around so its shocking this happened right here."
Neighbor, Elida Santos said, "I was a bit surprised, there are always kids playing there's never any trouble here."
Elida's seven-year-old cousin was playing in the front lawn who says saw everything.
"All he said was, the lady came out running and screaming, sat down behind her car and the daughter, or little girl, called the cops and they immediately came,” said Elida.
Neighbors we talked to said the family is very reserved that they rarely ever came out of their home.
"It's rare that we see them just when they go drop off their kids at school or in the morning but they're usually just there,” said Luis Martinez.
Neighbors are left wondering if their quiet little neighborhood is safer then they thought.
