The man who shocked a quiet south Laredo neighborhood, when he stabbed his wife then turned that knife on himself, is now behind bars.
This is Bernardino Dominguez straight out of the hospital and tonight in Webb County Jail, on no bond.
He's the man allegedly responsible for a domestic dispute that spiraled out of control earlier this week on feather street.
Police say he stabbed his spouse twice in the back with a kitchen knife as she tried to leave there home.
All in front of their daughter.
Police say the victim ran out called 911.
Dominguez then stabbed himself.
He is now charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury.
His wife remains hospitalized..with non life threatening injuries.
