Fernandez Receives Exclusive Invite

One local football player will be packing his bags for South Carolina pretty soon.
Nixon's linebacker, Erick Fernandez received an exclusive invite to the NUC All- American game week.
That game will be played December 22nd in Myrtle Beach.
Fernandez has been turning heads in Laredo and also at the national level.
Previously, Fernandez was invited to the top prodigy camp in Florida before the 2012 season began.
The lineman told me he was ecstatic to receive the invite
"I got this invite last night at ten so I was already tired, I was making my bed to go to sleep. I saw the invite and I jumped up and down. I thought it was a mistake until I went and confirmed it."
It was no mistake; the lineman has schools such as Tulsa, Temple, Vanderbilt, Indiana State, and North Texas keeping an eye on him.
