Fire Departments welcomes new firefighters

The Laredo Fire Department welcomed 33 new cadets Friday morning. A graduation ceremony was held at the Laredo Civic Center, with friends and family in attendance.
The cadets who graduated Friday entered the academy back in July of 2010. They went through various different types of training, including that for a firefighter, paramedic, rescue operations, aircraft firefighting, and hazardous materials technician.
