Flash Mob Group Donates to Crime Stoppers

A check presentation was held over at Crime Stoppers Headquarters. The donation, which amounted to $500, was donated by a group of flash mobbers that performed at the mall on Saturday. A little over 50 people participated in the flash mob, which was, in part, to celebrate National Dance Day, and in part to give back to the community. Ten dollars was donated by each member to the organizer, Kassandra Cardenas, who explains why they donated their funds. "Back in '09, I was crowned Miss Crime Stoppers. It was a proud accomplishment of mine. So, I figured why not give back something to them, who not only help one person, but the community as a whole."
