Four Men Arrested With Drugs and Cash During Traffic Stop

A traffic stop leads to a major drug bust and four men landing behind bars. Arrested in the case are 32 year old Jorge Armando Perez, 24 year old Hector Manuel Cavazos.
29 year old Pedro Omar Garza and 23 year old Jorge Padilla-Ferretis they are all charged with possession of a controlled substance and engaging in organized criminal activity.
The charges are all connected to an incident happening on Tuesday in the 14 hundred block of North Meadow.
A police officer pulled over a black ford pick-up truck for having expired decals. During the stop, the officer noticed the driver acting nervously. Upon questioning all four men gave inconsistent information. After a search of the vehicle, the officer found five pounds of cocaine and cash hidden underneath the seats.
The drugs had a value of 36 thousand dollars and the cash was calculated at 24 thousand dollars. All four men were taken to the Webb County Jail.
