Fundraiser hosted for LAPS

Today is national spay and neuter your pet day, and to help celebrate, the Laredo Animal Protective Society held a fundraiser dinner for the shelter. The Dinner was called “Spay-ghetti & No Meat Balls.” La Reserva restaurant was packed with people who came out for the spaghetti dinner. Supporters say they think the dinner was a great way to raise funds.
“You know I used to work for an animal hospital before and you see it all the time, the over population; these poor animals. So I just thought it was a great idea to come out and support the local community with animal population." Says Ruby Obst.
100% of the proceeds from the fundraiser will go to LAPS.
