Hit-and-run suspect turned in by wife
Police arrest a man in connection with a hit and run accident that happened just a few days ago.
Police say the suspect's own wife turned him in to authorities.
Thirty-three-year-old Pedro Diaz Salinas is accused of crashing a car into another vehicle and a wall, and knocking down a stop sign, then fleeing the scene.
It happened Saturday evening near the intersection of Gustavus and Monterrey.
No serious injuries were reported.
Salinas was taken to jail on a $100,000 bond on charges of accident involving injuries.
