All of the money from a recent fundraiser has now been accounted for.
A police investigation has found no misappropriation of funds in that case involving the alleged mishandling of money raised from the 5K Mud Race, this passed September, sponsored by councilman Charlie San Miguel.
A statement from police spokesperson Joe Baeza says:
“After a thorough criminal investigation along with prosecutorial review of the findings in this case, the result was no elements of a crime were met, thus rendering this criminal investigation closed.”
