A local high school teacher wanted on a sexual assault warrant out Williamson County has been arrested.
Fifty five year old Javier Reyes was booked on the sexual assault charge Wednesday at the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the county’s district clerk’s office, Reyes was held under a $100,000 bond.
According to the United Independent School District, Reyes, a teacher at Alexander High School and a former girls’ basketball coach, is on paid administrative leave until the courts resolve the case.
According to reports, the incident did not occur at the school.
