Jenni Rivera CD's Flying Off Shelves

Laredoans are mourning the death of singer Jenni Rivera following the plan crash that killed her and six other people.
Our Annette Garcia was out at a local music store where employees were talking about what made the singer so different from the rest.
“We've seen a lot of people grabbing CD's and DVD's like this one.”
Jenni Rivera's music and performances on d-v-d flew off the shelves Sunday afternoon.
And Monday morning people kept coming.
She was very loved says Fernando Mata of San Ramon Record shop. We started noticing the response from the people asking for her CD's and DVD's.
Rivera was killed in a plane crash in northern Mexico Sunday.
She was only 43 years old.
Known at the diva of Banda music, Mata says Rivera dominated a genre not many women could.
She just stands out in Banda music.
Fans are eagerly waiting the release of a new CD with all her hits which was already scheduled to be released Tuesday.
Mata says he's already sold all the copies his store will receive and even tried ordering more.
But he says the record company is already on back log.
Mata says he expects to see more people become Jenni Rivera fans.
People who maybe knew of her but never paid close attention to her music.
When a star dies, he says, a legend is born.
Six other people died in the crash.
The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board is sending a team to Mexico to help investigate the crash.
