The two defendants standing trial on a murder for hire and conspiracy drug case sat emotionless on Thursday as several federal agents took the stand.
KGNS was the news affiliate with a sketch artist in the courtroom.
An undercover agent with DEA testified on the weapons and ammunition that were found in the trunk of the vehicle being driven by Samuel Walker, already identified as the would-be-shooter, and Kevin Corley, who has already pled guilty to federal charges.
The weapons shown in court were identified as high-powered rifles.
Agents testified they were all found in vehicles driven by suspects in both Laredo and Colorado Springs.
Other military equipment was shown, including military vests, rifle magazines, a hatchet and a knife; all found in possession of the defendants.
