In college volleyball, the LCC women's team finished the year 20-9 overall after losing on the 3rd day of the regional tournament. For their hard work five Palominos were named to the All-Region team, including freshmen Amanda Alves and Alexis Villa, who were both named to the 1st team. Alves was also named the co-offensive player of the year and has been nominated for the National Junior College All-American award which will be announced later this month. Three others made the all-conference and all-region 2nd team.
