Hundreds of kids participating in a local program that this week reached a milestone.
For 50 years the Laredo International Fair and Exposition has worked with students in school hoping to teach them the skills needed for life and tonight was the big auction.
About four hundred students in local 4h and FFA clubs showcased projects at the life fair grounds.
This after raising them, training them and grooming them to get ready to be sold to the highest bidder.
All sorts of life stalk was sold at the event; including poultry, swine, goats, lambs and for Audry Vasquez she sold a steer.
Entertainment is expected at the life fair grounds all through the night with headlining band Signo.
