LULAC 7 Holds Golf Event

Golfers came out to Casa Blanca Golf Course for a good cause.
It was all to raise money for LULAC Council #7.
They hold fundraisers like this to raise money for scholorships for students.
We spoke the president of LULAC 7 about the importance of the event.
"This is one of our major fundraisers we do for our scholorship program. We have been doing this for the last three years and all the proceeds go the scholorship fund. We gave out $30,000 in scholorships this year. And we also get involoved in the literacy program with the Laredo school districts."
About 35 people participated in that event. They hope to have more participants next year.
