From the field to the stands, Saturday, October 27, 2012, will be a big day for high school bands and their fans. Laredo UISD will host the UIL 5-A Marching Band competition for the first time at the Student Activity Center from 8AM - 11PM. Admission is $5.
Only UISD's high schools qualify to participate in this event. United South HS will be the first local band to take the field at 12:30 noon. Later Alexander HS will play at 2:15 PM, with United HS following at 5:45 PM, and LBJ HS at 6:40 PM.
