Today marks the culmination of a week long celebration, recognizing those whose mission is to serve and protect. Federal state and local law enforcement agencies were all present, representing their own at today's memorial service at Jarvis Plaza. Agents and officers were all recognized for their hard work and dedication but they also took time to honor those who have fallen in the line of duty like I.C.E. agent Jaime Zapata who was recently killed in Mexico.
Police week is celebrated every year to acknowledge those who work to keep the public safe.
