Monday, KGNS confirmed that Javier Reyes is still on paid administrative leave after he was indicted again, this time in Wilson County. The district attorney's office in Wilson County confirmed Monday Reyes has a court date in February after an indictment filed on January 23. This one alleges indecency with a child with sexual contact. They were unable to provide a Mugshot, the one on your screen is from when he was arrested in Williamson county in early January. We asked you, the viewer what your thoughts were on the case and if you think Reyes should be allowed to be on administrative leave. One viewer writes, “I think the school district should have done a better job of doing it's back ground checks......" Another viewer thinks, "Once you are accused of something like that they should be automatically terminated without pay. Then, if proven innocent get back on payroll." But another viewer has a different thought on the process and says, "….Innocent until proven guilty. Can’t terminate a contract or strip someone’s credentials away all on he say/she say. Allegations like these are very costly and need to be investigated boundlessly, justice always pays." Some agree that the justice system should be played out, but one viewer writes, "Still despite the whole innocent until proven guilty if a person is being charged with such heinous crime I would not continue to pay that person. .. administrative leave, yes, but with no pay."
