A high speed chase through West Laredo results in one arrest. police say Jesus Ramiro Anguiano ran a stop sign at the intersection of Stewart and Hendricks but wouldn't stop when an officer attempted to pull him over.
Instead police say he led the officer on a high speed chase through West Laredo. The chase ended near the riverbanks where the driver was arrested. Police say a passenger fled the scene and ran into the Rio Grande and back into Mexico with a duffel bag.
Police say one bundle of marijuana was left behind. Anguiano faces charges of evading with a motor vehicle possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.
