Police arrest a man accused of using a knife to threaten a local store clerk. Authorities say the suspect got away with less than one hundred dollars but now faces serious charges.
Police arrested 23 year old Rodolfo Najar Garza at the intersection of New York and Guerrero just before two this morning.
Officers had been on the lookout for Garza wanted for allegedly threatening a stripes store clerk with a kitchen knife a few minutes earlier.
Police say Garza got away with only 60 dollars. Authorities credit the clerks' detailed description of the suspect for the quick arrest.
Garza now faces a long list of charges including robbery. The cash and knife were recovered.
