Man Arrested for Allegedly Smuggling Illegal Immigrants

Police arrested a man early this morning for allegedly smuggling illegal immigrants.
Police received a call around 7 a.m. of about ten people walking along a creek near the intersection of Santa Clara and South Texas in south Laredo.
Border Patrol was called, and everyone was taken into custody.
Police said Steven Efrain Gonzalez now faces smuggling charges.
