A husband and wifes dispute spirals out of control leading to the assault of the woman and her neighbors.
Police releasing the mug shot of Chico Nakia Curry after his arrest last night at the 400 block of Lobo Loop.
Reports say they rushed to the residence off Mines Rd. last night, after an officer requested additional units when he struggled to subdue the 38-year-old.
They tell us Curry and his wife were involved in a domestic dispute when he allegedly struck her several times and then cut her face and her neck.
Neighbors who attempted to help the victim were also reportedly attacked by the suspect with a sharp object.
Their injuries were told were minor.
Curry is charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, violation of a protective order and resisting arrest.
