Police need help finding a man caught stealing from a truck at a local church. Authorities say dozens of people were attending mass at Blessed Sacrament on Bartlett at seven in the morning this past Sunday and were getting ready to send off kids to a week-long church camping trip.
But when one family returned to their truck to get their camping gear the 14 hundred dollars worth of equipment and clothing had all been stolen.
Surveillance video from the church shows a man driving a Chevy pick-up truck arrive and at one point even go inside the church. He's well dressed and even waves to other parishioners.
But minutes later the video shows the man scoping out each car while everyone else is inside.

”Once he was able to gather there was something of value he moves his truck to the victims truck and begins to unload truck to truck the camping equipment.”
Police are now trying to identify the suspect and ask that anyone with information please call police at 795-2800 or Crime Stopper at 727-TIPS.
