The City was represented at the Miss Texas Teen USA Pageant today and represented well; with another Laredo girl taking the prestigious crown for the third time in a row.
This is Daniela Rodriguez as she was crowned Miss Texas Teen earlier this afternoon at the Houston Post Hotel.
She attends United high school and was among a large group of Laredo girls who competed at the pageant..
Becca Ramirez and Katherine O'Connor also from Laredo placing top 15 and even their consultant who takes Laredo to the pageant each year got top honors winning reciter of the year for the second time.
"People are always saying what is in the water that these girls keep winning and we are blessed I have been too to bring something for Laredo in such a positive way, these girls they are amazing there are so many beautiful girls in Laredo we just want more girls to come out and be a part of something so great to share with the people," said Gonzalez.
Rodriguez is now being prepped to compete in the upcoming Miss Teen USA.
We plan on speaking with the new title holder as soon as she and her consultant return to Laredo.
