More Than 150 Pounds Of Marijuana Seized

More drugs were taken off the streets. This time the sheriff's department got in the mix by confiscating an estimated 75 thousand dollars worth of marijuana.
Around 4:30 PM, sheriffs deputies stopped a white Chevy Malibu Car on a routine traffic violation.
Two men were in the vehicle a 16-year-old juvenile and 20-year-old Victor Jacob Trujillo.
Inside were 14 bundles of marijuana weighing in at about 150 pounds and an estimated street value of 75 thousand dollars.
Capitan Alex Garcia says this bust means a lot to the station taking drugs off the streets.
He says, “the sheriff made Webb county a promise we want to keep doing the interdiction and not pass drugs to our children."
The two men are being charged with possession of marijuana felony two.
