Morning Chat: 2/5/13 LCC New Petroleum Courses

Oil rig jobs have boomed since the arrival of the Eagle Ford Shale. If you're interested in working in this growing field, but need some basic training Laredo Community College has some courses that would benefit you. LCC Workforce Education Coordinator Armando Fonseca tells us more about what is offered. Courses begin in March for the public, and are also offered for customized training for any particular company or employer interested in training their staff.
These are some of the courses offered:
-Confined Space Awareness
-Hazwoper
-Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S)
-PEC Basic – SafeLand / SafeGulf Orientation
