Cilantro is used as an accent in many dishes, but on Saturday, March 16, it's the main event! The monthly El Centro de Laredo Farmers Market will be hosting the 2nd Annual Cilantro Fest at Jarvis Plaza on Saturday, March 16, with extended hours from 9:00 AM through 2:00 PM. Aside from finding locally grown produce, they will also hold contests judging for the Best Salsa, Main Dish, Side Dish, Beverage, Dessert and Value-Added product.
