Some talented local youngsters are headed to state!
The United Independent School District Fine Arts Department is proud to announce that three students from United High School and four students from Alexander High School have qualified for the uil state music competition.
The students had to try out at an audition that were held recently in Alice, Texas, which qualified them to move on to this next level of competition.
Now the students are making plans to attend the Texas Music Educators Association Conference in San Antonio in February.
