Neighbors React To Drug Bust Near School

People in the neighborhood are concerned this activity was happening right by a school.
Our Lauren Kendrick continues our team coverage by speaking to people in the neighborhood.
This grandma is scared for her grandchildren and fears that the drug dealers may get to them.
"That happens anywhere you're walking. You'll see younger kids and you'll see older kids offer them and it's dangerous."
She's trying to keep her grandchildren safe.
"It's dangerous that kids see the dangers of raids."
Estrada witnessed all the commotion this morning, but wasn't surprised.
"I knew there is some drug activity in this area."
People we spoke to are not necessarily shocked about the drug bust, but more that is happened so close to an elementary school.
"We're able to control the perimeter. We have a security guard and we're always visible."
The principal of Don Jose Gallego Elementary says she wasn't taking any chances.
"Whenever we notice something is wrong, we call the LISD police department and so they surveying and helping us out."
