Zapata County continues to grow. This time with the addition of a brand new museum like no other in South Texas. The building is scheduled to open in early May. The director for the project tells us this comprehensive museum will feature exhibits and presentations on the history of the region. The museum will also provide displays of early plant and animal life all the way to present day formations. All exhibits are being finalized and on track to be installed at the end of March.
