High school teacher Javier Reyes remains on paid administrative leave Tuesday after he was arrested in Williamson County on a sexual assault charge and has an indictment in Wilson County for alleged indecency with a child with sexual contact.
We asked you the viewer what your thoughts were and if he should be allowed to teach children again.
"(Spanish) If it's true what you're telling me, then never. They are our children and we think they are safe at school. No, never. Those kinds of coaches and teachers have to go."
Another viewer said her kids go to Alexander and did not want to be identified, but said she agrees.
"(Spanish) As an Alexander mother I do not approve because girls run a great risk. Because if he's done it before, he's likely to do it again."
A few of you commented off-camera saying you hope he will not be allowed near schools again.
Some students also voiced their opinion on whether or not they think Reyes should still be getting paid.
"Nah, really I don't. I think he shouldn't even be close to schools or anything because I mean because of what he did."
"I think we got to be aware of what is around the school, what is happening around the school and what I think we got to be sure we are hanging out and who we are socializing with."
We want to hear from you.
