People Flock To Stores For After Christmas Deals

For people who did not like their Christmas gift, today is the day to return those gifts.
But in addition to returns, people are out buying what they didn't get.
Our Lauren Kendrick joins us now with more.
If you got a gift card or cash for Christmas and it's burning a hole in you're pocket, you're not alone.
Stores around the city are filled with shoppers.
We visited best buy where instead of there being lines of people to return gifts, there are lines of people buying items.
While some people are enjoying their Christmas vacation visiting with family or eating leftovers, others are fighting the crowds at the malls and other shopping centers. The day after Christmas is being called the busiest day for returns, but that's not the case for one retailer.
"It's more of a continuation of the day before Christmas. It's more sales for us here at Best Buy."
Reyes says there are the occasional items being returned. For the most part, the store is packed with people looking to make a purchase.
"In the morning, the first customers that come in are those that got all the gift cards for Christmas and they're anxious to buy more stuff."
Instead of getting that hideous tie from your uncle or the hand made sweater from your grandma, it seems people received gifts they actually wanted.
"A lot of people don't know what to give so they give gift cards."
"Employees say accessories like these for the kindle fire and other e-readers have been flying off the shelf all day."
"We've got mini Ipads and there's tons of accessories. You get an Ipod, there's tons of accessories. X-Box there's tons of accessories, games and stuff like that."
