Thousands of dollars in cash are seized from a local 8-liner business over the weekend.
Arrested in this case is 41-year-old Luis Torres.
Torres is facing charges of promotion of gambling.
This comes after authorities raided the Sahara casino on the 3300 block of Chacota St. early Saturday morning.
Police seized more than $14,000 from the South Laredo business.
The raid came after several weeks of investigating illegal gambling at that establishment for allegedly paying out more than five dollars in cash to game winners there.
