Local dogs were up and running early today for the first ever Pooch Parade. Your Good Neighbor Station, along with the Laredo Animal Protective Society and Petland Laredo teamed up to organize the Pawsitive Pet Pal Pooch Parade held today at North Central Park. Organizers are calling the event a great success. "Turnout was great. Pets of all sizes. Basically we had a walk. Folks donated ten dollars for the Animal Shelter. All proceeds are going to the Animal Shelter. Hundreds of dollars worth of prizes are available," says Joe Carvalho, from Petland. Prizes were given to some of the cutest and well-dressed pets.
