Postal Employee Indicted

A former U.S. Postal Service employee here in Laredo is arrested on charges of theft of mail. 62 year old Raul Cavazos is accused of stealing items from the mail, including Visa gift cards, as well as gift cards from retailers and even cash from letters he allegedly opened.

Cavazos is scheduled to make his first court appearance tomorrow in McAllen. The case against Cavazos will be prosecuted here in Laredo.
