The recent rainstorms in our area were enough to help water levels at the lake. The boat ramps at lake Casa Blanca had been closed for about eight months prior to the rain from last week.
Officials with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department felt that the recent rain caused levels to rise high enough to allow the ramps to be re-opened for public use.
It was something people in the community had been asking about all summer long.
