Well each year, this month long WBCA celebration brings a boost to our local economy.
And today event planners are reporting a record breaking crowd at this mornings Stars and Stripes Airshow.
A sucessful turnout they’re saying not just for the association , but the city as well.
More than 30,000 spectators showed up to the event, according to WBCA officials.
The event starting a 11 AM until afternoon hours with people not just from Laredo, but also from surrounding areas.
WBCA says the month long celebration has grown to attract about 500,000 residents and visitors a year, and contributes an estimated $14 million dollars to our local economy.
Our celebration is now ranked one of the top 100 events in North America.
