Residents Complain About Bed Bugs, Follow Up
By KGNS News

The manager of a local apartment complex says statements made by his tenants about an out of control bed bug problem. are not true.
The tennants say they've repeatedly asked their landlord to fumigate the apartments in the complex, but haven't gotten the help they needed.
For months now, tennents at the El Pescadito Apartments in south Laredo say they've been living with a pesky problem, bed bugs.
Rosa Garcia one of the tennents living in the apartment complex says they've repeatably asked for help from the owner of the apartment complex but to no avail.
"I've complained to the maintenance guys I know several of the other tennents have done the same thing we've all showed him the bugs, he has not done anything."
Not true says owner Luis Hinojosa, in fact he says only one tennent has ever complained about bedbugs.
"I have not received any other complains about bed bugs in another apartment from no one I don't have news that they're any in another part of the complex."
Mr.Hinojosa took us to Rosa Garcia's apartment to show us that no other apartment except the one above hers has asked to be fumigated.
"If someone comes to me and tells me they have bed bugs I'll do something, no one has complained just the tennent above, this person has never said anything.
For now, Garcia prepares to leave the complex, but she says she cant take anything with her because she wont risk taking bed bugs with her.
"So I'm gonna leave my mattress my couch I have to go and take my, any of the furniture I wanna take specialized for bed bugs and put back together."
Rosa Garcia says Hinojosa has contacted each of the tennents saying that he will fumigate whichever apartment needs help.
but not all the tennents are convinced it will happen.
"we shall see."
