Paramedics responding to some back to back auto pedestrian accidents leaving one woman in serious condition.
The first happening in the downtown area on Scott and Santa Maria Street.
Emergency officials telling us that an elderly woman, beleived to be about 80 years old, was struck down there by a vehicle.
Her injuries reported to be major.
She remains at Laredo Medical Center tonight.
Shortly after paramedics called out to a more North part of town on Gallager and Calton.
In that accident a baby is the victim.
The driver of a vehicle reportedly hitting a stroller with the baby in it.
The accident we are told was low impact.
The baby is stable, but was also hospitalized.
