Sentencing for Laredo firefighter guilty of DWI resheduled
It's all due to a scheduling conflict with the court's docket, according to the Webb County District Attorney's Office.
Sentencing has been rescheduled for 8am, March 4th, at County Court at Law Number Two.
Juan Carlos Gomez was found guilty of crashing his vehicle into a Laredo police officer's cruiser in February of 2010. The trial lasted a week and involved testimony from several police officers and firefighters. It came to an end on February first of this year with a guilty verdict.
The officer had been directing traffic after a single vehicle rollover accident along I-35.
