This morning the Webb County Sheriff's Office asked for a moment of silence in memory of the young children and mother.
It was part of the sheriff's monthly breakfast held once a month at the same hotel where the children were shot.
Sheriff's officials also gave praise to law enforcement who responded to the situation that day saying the officers did a great job in protecting everyone they could and catching the man responsible for the crime.
