A two-day event for collectors in South Texas is wrapping up.
The event brought to Laredo more than 100 vendors from across the state and Mexico.
With features like the 501st legion featuring Peter Meyhew, better known as “Chewbaca” from star wars, and some former NFL'ers as well.
Organizers say this was one of their biggest weekends ever, with more than 2,000 people in attendance on Saturday alone.
They tell us this weekend's event is something different for this part of the state.
Marco Jalomo, the organizer of the event says, “They are amazed Laredo has something like this. They’ve never seen it on this scale. I think people left happy. They come to see something like this. It’s the least expensive in the country.”
Two more of these shows are expected for next year!
