An upcoming summer camp for kids is mixing both physical fitness and character enrichment into its program. Children who attend will be trained on how to handle bullying, peer pressure, the importance of healthy eating habits and exercise. The Sheriff's department will also teach the children about gun safety, internet safety and gang & drug awareness.
The camp is for children ages 8-18 and it will run June 25-29. It will be held at 820 Gale Street, at the Iron Body Fitness Center, from 9AM-12PM. The cost is only $100 per child. To register or for more information, contact Pepito Espinoza at (956) 286-5091.
