Suspect robs Stripes store with assault rifle

Laredo police are searching for a man who held up a local convenience store at gunpoint, apparently with an assault rifle.

It happened at the Stripes on Hillside just after four Tuesday morning.

The entire incident took only two minutes, and the man got away with $30 out of the register.

He was wearing a ski mask, hoodie and skinny jeans.
