A fight that broke out at Taco Palenque was recorded and is floating around the internet, getting mixed thoughts. In the video, there is a fight between individuals including security officers.
"The security officer unfortunately in the video does lose some credibility in terms of coming up from behind and assaulting the person from behind."
Baeza says however since we don't see the video from the beginning it's hard to get the whole story of what may have provoked the security guard. He says a lot of these security guards working at restaurants in the late night hours are dealing with intoxicated people.
"The video of the fight that happened in this parking lot has close to three thousand views on You Tube. We don't know what happened inside that lead to the fight."
"There was probably a confrontation in the restaurant that remains to be seen whether or not there was physical altercation with the suspect and security guard. I'm sure there probably was."
Baeza says there's a huge difference between security guards and police officers and people that hire some security guards don't know much about the training and certification that is needed.
"Some of the security officers don't have the proper training or even the personality to work in certain capacities."
There was one arrest at the scene. The person arrested was 19 year old Eduardo Garcia, who was charged in 2011 in the quarter house case where a murder occurred.
