Police make an arrest in the case of a recent robbery of a local gas station.
It happened early Tuesday morning at a Stripes store in the 700 block of Guadalupe; that's where a 16-year-old went in and took the cash drawer from the register.
The drawer was later discovered abandoned, along with a backpack and a cellphone.
Police say the teenager had changed his clothes. That's how he evaded capture originally, but investigators went back, reviewed surveillance footage, positively identified their suspect and arrested him.
Seventy dollars in cash was stolen, but never recovered.
